The Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University (JFMED), proudly participates in the prestigious TEF Health network – the Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics.

This groundbreaking project unites 52 partner organizations from 11 European countries and is led by Charité Berlin, Europe’s largest university hospital. The project’s mission is the experimental development and testing of AI solutions within large, sustainable environments such as hospitals. Its ultimate goal is to identify and evaluate methods that streamline the introduction of intelligent robotic technologies to the healthcare market.

The TEF Health project provides a tailored service catalog for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) under highly favorable conditions. By accelerating the market entry of innovative technologies and processes in healthcare, the initiative fosters stronger public-private sector collaboration and bolsters the EU's position as a global leader in healthcare AI innovation, competing with nations like the USA and China. As a pilot program, TEF Health is setting a precedent for the integration of AI into healthcare systems.
